by Gautama Siddhartha Buddha (Author)

The Dhammapada of the Buddha
This book reveals how these sutras address all facets of human unconsciousness and how the entire message of the Buddha aims to awaken our consciousness. Exploring the Dhammapada is to enter into a true friendship between enlightened teachers. Compiled by the Buddha's disciples, these verses distill the very essence of his teachings. They mark the final turning of the Wheel of Dharma more than 2,500 years ago, and through their commentaries, that wheel turns again for our time. Alongside the verses, you will find answers to the disciples' questions, alternative discourses enriched with stories, personal experiences, and, of course, a generous touch of humor.
