by Annie Thrasher (Author)

Annie Thrasher would have a much easier time sitting back and leaving this book of memories sitting in an old metal fi ling cabinet. Save her dignity ... protect her pride - and forget about the gut-wrenching stuff that came before now. But love doesn't hide her scars. She stands up in the light and peels her layers off slowly, one-by-one, and boldly declares to others that they are not alone. In this memoir, the author considers questions such as: - How can you make sense of mismatched memories and make them fi t together? - What can you do to share your story with others even if parts of it are not pretty? - How can you make peace when you have disagreements with God? Too Dirty for Jesus will inspire anyone who has ever confronted the fog of childhood trauma and questioned their sanity in remembering, or who has struggled with the addiction that comes from trying to numb the pain.
