Knowing about Christ does not mean you actually know Him.

We live in a culture where intimate knowledge of God is no longer treated as paramount. Instead, we have replaced true connection with facts and academic doctrine.

Yet what God calls His people to is a pure life born from a pure heart. Without an experiential knowledge of who Christ is, we will constantly strive-only to fail at the high calling He has placed on our lives.

Striving itself isn't the problem, so long as our striving is focused on the one thing that matters: fighting the good fight of faith.
