by Bunyan (Author)

Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners is John Bunyan's vivid spiritual autobiography, first published in 1666. In it the author of The Pilgrim's Progress lays bare the storms of doubt, despair, and temptation that assailed his soul, and traces the patient work of divine grace that carried him from the depths of guilt to settled assurance and joy in Christ. Written with searching honesty and the plain, forceful English for which Bunyan is celebrated, this enduring classic of Puritan devotion has comforted and instructed readers for more than three centuries. This carefully prepared illustrated edition presents Bunyan's timeless testimony of conversion for a new generation of readers.
