Told in a reflective first-person voice, Buddha, an Auto Biography traces the inner and outer journey of a man born into privilege who becomes one of history's most influential spiritual teachers. The narrative opens in the quiet shadow of the end-an aging sage lying in a grove near Kapilavastu, attended by a devoted companion recording his final recollections. From this still point, the story unfolds as a long meditation on a life spent searching for the end of suffering. The narrative explores themes of individual spiritual fulfillment as well as the complications of a life lived fully. The narrative closes with a tone of serene completion. The man who once fled the palace now prepares to leave the world itself, not with regret but with a deep compassion for those still seeking. His story becomes both a personal testament and an invitation-an account of one life that illuminates a universal human struggle. The lessons learned on this journey of discovery are still relevant today, and that is the point.
